presentation design for events in san francisco

01. Story before slides

We work out what each speaker is actually saying before we design how they say it. What the audience believes walking in, what they need to believe walking out, and what has to happen in between. The slides come after that's settled.

02. We know what breaks on the day

Content lands late. Speakers rewrite their sections on the plane. The screen ratio is wrong and nobody checked. We've been through enough events to plan for all of it, which is why being on site is part of the engagement rather than an upsell.

03. Strategy and design, no handoff

The person who works out the argument is the person who designs the slides. That person is the founder: part of six startups, two of them exited, then 16+ years in Bay Area tech. Execution runs through a small senior team. No account managers, no juniors learning on your budget.

(Step 1)Discovery

We learn the audience, the venue, the speakers, and what the event has to achieve. For a keynote, that means understanding what the room already believes.

  • YOU GET: Audience brief, narrative direction, content plan.

(Step 2)Strategy

We build the argument for each speaker before anything gets designed. You approve the direction before we open a design file.

  • YOU GET: Narrative outline, slide-by-slide structure, key messages.

(Step 3)Design

Slides, signage, collateral. Every choice traces back to the story. Revisions throughout the engagement.

  • YOU GET: Final decks, source files, presenter notes.

(Step 4)Event

We’re on site. Last-minute changes, speaker requests, and whatever the AV team finds at six in the morning.

  • YOU GET: On-site support through the event.

Event support starts at $11,000 for a two-week full-time engagement, $20,000 for a month, and $36,000 for two months. That covers every deck, every speaker, and on-site presence for the event itself. Standalone presentations are quoted per project starting at $10,000. Pitch decks for fundraising run $12,000 to $45,000 and are priced separately.

Full-time availability for the length of the engagement, with a two-week minimum. Every deck for every speaker, revisions throughout, signage and event collateral designed around the same story, and on-site presence for the event days. No setup fee. Travel and accommodation are billed separately. Content always changes the week of an event, which is why the engagement is booked by time rather than by deliverable count.

Yes, and it’s included in the engagement rather than charged as an extra. Speakers rewrite their sections, content lands late, and something always goes wrong with the display before doors open. Being in the room is the difference between fixing it and emailing about it. Zamora Design is based in San Francisco and travels for events, with travel and accommodation billed separately.

Yes. Zamora Design has delivered keynote and event presentations for technology conferences, internal summits, and enterprise brand events, including work for companies on the client list. Across 200+ presentation projects, clients have raised over $700M using work the studio designed.

Pitch deck design is for persuading someone to commit money: investor decks, sales decks, executive summaries, and the narrative behind them. Presentation design is for events: conference keynotes, breakout sessions, signage, collateral, and the template systems that keep them consistent. Different audiences, different processes, different pricing. Pitch decks have their own page.

Yes. A presentation system is a template with the brand built in: locked master slides, approved layouts, and a usage guide so your team makes the next hundred decks without breaking anything. Delivered in PowerPoint, Keynote, Google Slides, or Canva, whichever your team already uses. Quoted per project.

Four to six weeks before the event is comfortable. Two weeks is the minimum engagement but it’s tight if content isn’t close to final. Standalone presentations need three to four weeks. If you’re closer than that, ask anyway. Rush work is sometimes possible depending on what’s already booked, with a 25% surcharge for express timelines.

Most agencies report client logos. Zamora Design reports capital raised. Clients have raised over $700M across 200+ projects as of 2026. The founder was part of six startups, two of which exited, and served as Director of Strategy in Silicon Valley before designing anything. We know which slide loses the room because we’ve been on both sides of the table.
