INTROWe assisted Teremana Tequila in overcoming presentation design and storytelling challenges, version control, and font consistency. Through targeted training and strategic solutions, Teremana Tequila improved its presentation efficiency and effectiveness.
Background
Teremana Tequila, a rapidly growing company, faced significant challenges in managing their presentation processes. The primary issues included version control problems with Dropbox, font inconsistencies in Google Slides, and the need for improved storytelling techniques in presentations. These challenges hindered their ability to deliver cohesive and professional presentations.
Challenges and Solutions
- Version Control: Teremana Tequila struggled with version control in Dropbox, leading to confusion and inefficiencies. Zamora Design recommended adopting Box for its superior versioning capabilities and integration options, which aligned better with the company’s needs.
- Font Issues: Custom fonts caused inconsistencies in Google Slides, as they were not universally supported. Zamora Design advised disabling font embedding and replacing American Typewriter with a Google-friendly font to maintain uniformity across presentations.
- Storytelling and Design: Presentations lacked a clear narrative and visual hierarchy. Training focused on classic storytelling techniques and slide design principles to create more engaging and effective presentations.

The Process
The process was structured to ensure maximum impact and learning retention:
An intensive training session was conducted to introduce Teremana Tequila’s team to best practices in version control, font management, and presentation design. This session laid the groundwork for implementing new strategies and tools.
Following the initial training, Zamora Design provided three consecutive Fridays of office hours. During these sessions, team members could seek personalized guidance and troubleshoot any issues they encountered while applying the new techniques.
At the conclusion of the training and support period, a comprehensive session was held to summarize the challenges faced, the solutions suggested, and the learnings acquired. This step ensured that the team at Teremana Tequila had a clear understanding of the improvements made and how to maintain these enhancements in their future presentations.
